This gorgeous summer wedding took place at the beautiful Coombe Lodge. The bride, Louise works at another another venue which I regularly supply with flowers. Having seen what we produce she wanted us to create the flowers for her wedding.
Louise and James chose a colour palette of ivory and very pale pink, with all designs in a flower heavy style. Her dress was a beautiful elegant trumpet style and the flowers she chose compliment it perfectly. The bridesmaids wore navy whilst the guys were in black tie dinner suits.
The ceremony was planned to be outdoors and Louise had her heart set on a floral arch to married under. On the morning of the wedding the weather hadn’t quite made it’s mind up and without knowing if the ceremony would be inside or out we had to think on our feet. Coombe Lodge advised that the decision wouldn’t be made until an hour before the ceremony. So we decided to create 2 large urn arrangements, incase the outdoor ceremony was abandoned. We also created a large swag design to hang above for added decoration.
The aisle was decorated with posies of hydrangeas and roses, in keeping with the wedding.
Half any hour before the ceremony there was a rain storm but it cleared up just in time for Louise to have her outdoor ceremony that she had dreamed off.
The wedding breakfast at Coombe Lodge was conducted in the Piano Room. We worked alongside Holly Boo Events, who provided props for then day, whilst we created a 16ft table runner for the top table and posies of flowers for the guests tables for candelabras to sit on.
Louise and James were an absolute pleasure to work with, their clear vision for the day made the execution for the floral design effortless.
