Marquee Wedding

A blank canvas

Many couples chose a marquee to host their wedding reception as it is the perfect blank canvas for them to make their wedding truly unique. It’s also the perfect solution if you would like to host your wedding at your or a family members home.

Louise and Phil decided to do just that, and hosted their marquee wedding at their home on the outskirts of Bristol. Olivia from Host Wedding and Events was on hand throughout the lead up to the wedding and on the day to ensure the day ran seamlessly and that they could enjoy their day. Olivia has many years of experience as a wedding coordinator and really does know her job inside out. Olivia assisted the couple with finding suppliers for the day including the traditional marquee from County Marquees.

Bridal Flowers

Louise wanted a very simple bouquet of flowers to compliment her elegant, clean lined wedding dress but filled with lots of foliage and no statement flowers, the end result was just dreamy

The Marquee Flowers

When I first met with Louise we discussed how she envisaged the day. How she wanted to tell her and Phil’s story. Louise wanted to keep the florals plain and simple and had a huge love for foliage. We opted for foliage heavy designs with delicate all white flowers in keeping with her vision. As the marquee was a blank canvas, Louise really wanted to include some statement florals for real impact.

We opted for a beautiful display of foliage and flowers to welcome the guests to the marquee in a natural design.

The pathway was lit up for the evening with beautiful festoon lights provided by County Marquees.

Inside the marquee, gold urns were filled with flower heavy designs for a Grecian feel and placed on the guest tables. Metres and metres of garlands were attached to each of the 3 poles and the top table was adorned with a large garland of foliage and flowers, whilst a wooden arch framed Louise and Phil.
