Spring wedding at Kingscote Barn

There’s nothing that shouts spring more than a wedding filled with Daffodils, narcissi and tulips.   We first met with Lizzie when she was visiting family from Australia. Lizzie and Chris’ vision was to have Kingscote Barn filled with foliage and spring blooms, especially daffodils as a nod to Chris’ Welsh roots.

With the bridesmaids wearing pale lemon tea length dresses a colour palette of ivory, cream, yellow and lots of green foliage was decided.

Lizzie requested a bouquet filled with spring flowers. We used a a mixture of roses, tulips, syringa, ranunculus and narcissi, filled with foliage.

Whilst her bridesmaids carried simple bouquets of just narcissi. The smell was incredible!

The guests were greeted with a hanging wreath of flowers suspended above Kingscote’s drinks cart.

As the wedding ceremony was going to be conducted inside, we created a large floral installation on the gallery. Full of foliage and to make it seem like it was growing from the outside of the barn. This was an incredible display and a real talking point for guests.
